We have been dancing for 9 years, cueing for 8 years, and teaching classes for 6 years. For GRDTA, Matthew has served as the Secretary in 2006-2007, Vice-President in 2009-2010, and is currently serving as the President in 2010-2011 and is the GRDTA website designer.
We showcased and taught at our first National Convention in 2007 and taught two dances of our own choreography at the Georgia State Square Dance Convention in September 2007. We have also participated at the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Tennessee State Convention and plan to be there again in 2012.
We regularly cue for five square dance clubs. The Habersham Squares of Cornelia, GA (every 2nd and 4th Saturday); The Happy Squares of Athens, GA (every 2nd and 4th Thursday); The Team Squaes of Commerce, GA (every 4th Tuesday); The Paws & Taws of Seneca, SC (every 2nd Friday); and The Anderson Pacesetters of Anderson, SC (every 3rd Monday)
Currently, we are teaching phase 4 & 5 classes on Tuesday nights and two sets of classes on Wednesday nights in Cornelia, GA.. Interested dancers are always welcomed.
We are members of Roundalab and are BMI/ASCAP licensed.
